Solectria Renewables Introduces
SolrenView PV System Data Monitoring

LAWRENCE, Mass., October 14, 2008 - Solectria Renewables introduces SolrenView web-based data monitoring service for photovoltaic (PV) systems. These state-of-the-art product packages provide streamlined, inverter-direct and/or revenue-grade monitoring, and reports may be accessed online at www.solrenview.com.

"SolrenView gives us exactly the right offering for our customers and is very easy to specify and install," said Mike Lastella of SouthPoint LLC, a renewable energy design and installation group. "We installed a system with six PV inverters, and one SolrenView system monitored all the inverters with a revenue-grade feed to the state funding agency."

Inverter-direct monitoring can be included with all Solectria PV inverter models from 1.8 kW to 95 kW and may also be added after installation. The service can monitor up to 16 inverters on one Internet gateway, minimizing complexity and hardware cost. The revenue-grade monitoring option is certified to report to state funding agencies such as CA-CEC, MA-MTC, CT-CCEF and NJ-CEP, as may be required by the agencies for reporting renewable energy credits. Both packages also include email alerts with detailed descriptions of sudden system problems as well as a recommended course of action.

"These products are simple to understand and specify," said Scott Bowden, Business Development Manager at Solectria. "Advanced features such as alerts and the revenue-grade option allow customers to get exactly what they need for a great value in basic monitoring."

The SolrenView offering compliments Solectria's full suite of built-in Fat Spaniel data monitoring options as well as other Solectria-compatible data monitoring systems such as those from Energy Recommerce and Draker Labs.

"We continue to support and work openly with companies creating data monitoring products, as we believe this will provide the best results for our customers," said Michael Zuercher-Martinson, Principal Engineer at Solectria. "SolrenView allows us to detect potential problems at a much earlier stage than possible in the past and can help prevent downtime altogether."

Solectria Renewables, LLC, of Lawrence, Massachusetts is a leader in the development and manufacturing of a wide range of inverters for renewable power applications including 1.8kW to 95kW grid tied PV inverters for systems from 1kW to multi-MW.  Solectria Renewables has an 18-year background in inverters and other electronic power systems for harsh environments.
